  - Institute for Education and Pedagogy (IKIP) Padang in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Department of English Language, with the diploma of February 1975;
  - Graduate Program of Institute for the Teaching and Pedagogy (IKIP) Jakarta, Department of English Language, with the diploma of December 1979.
